Day 1: Delhi – The Imperial Capital

Day 2: Agra – The City of the Taj Mahal

Depart early for Agra (3.5-hour drive). Arrive at the Taj Mahal at sunrise, when the white marble glows softly. Spend 2 hours marveling at its intricate pietra dura work, Quranic calligraphy, and the love story behind its creation. Note: The Taj is closed on Fridays.

Afternoon: Agra Fort & Local Craftsmanship
Visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO site where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. Explore its Diwan-i-Aam (public audience hall), Diwan-i-Khas (private hall), and the Mina Masjid (hidden mosque). Lunch at Peshawri (ITC Mughal) for North-West Frontier cuisine. Evening: Drive to Lucknow (5 Hours)
