9:30 AM – Jama Masjid & Rickshaw Ride through Chandni Chowk

Begin the tour in the heart of Old Delhi with Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque built by Shah Jahan. Climb the minaret (optional) for a panoramic view of the old city. After that, hop on a traditional rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk—one of Delhi’s oldest and busiest markets, full of spices, sweets, and local chaos.

10:30 AM – Red Fort (Drive-By or Visit)

Marvel at the stunning Red Fort from outside or take a quick visit inside (depending on time). A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Mughal-era fort is a symbol of India’s independence and architectural glory.

11:30 AM – Raj Ghat

Head to Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. The simplicity of this site reflects the life of the Father of the Nation.

12:30 PM – Drive to New Delhi + Lunch Stop

Travel towards New Delhi and stop for lunch at a local restaurant or hotel with North Indian cuisine. Your driver can recommend options based on your preference.

2:00 PM – India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan & Parliament House (Drive-By)

Continue to India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers. Then drive past the impressive Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan) and Parliament House, symbols of modern India’s democratic foundation.

3:00 PM – Qutub Minar

Explore the towering Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 73-meter tall minaret was built in the 12th century and stands as a marvel of Indo-Islamic architecture. The surrounding ruins are equally fascinating.

4:00 PM – Humayun’s Tomb

Visit Humayun’s Tomb, the stunning garden tomb of the Mughal emperor and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. The symmetrical design and peaceful atmosphere make it a must-see.

5:00 PM – Lotus Temple

Experience serenity at the Lotus Temple, known for its flower-like architecture and open-door policy for all religions. It’s a quiet retreat from the city’s noise and a symbol of unity and peace.

6:00 PM – Optional Visit: Akshardham Temple

Time permitting, visit Akshardham Temple, an extraordinary cultural complex with stunning carvings, exhibitions, and an optional light & sound show in the evening (Note: The temple closes by 8:00 PM and entry is free but time-consuming).

7:30 PM – Drop-Off at Hotel or Preferred Location

After a day filled with history, culture, and local flavor, your driver will drop you back at your hotel or any preferred location in Delhi.
